Saint Margaret of Cortona School is a Middle States Accredited Catholic Elementary School located in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. It provides classes for children in Kindergarten through Grade 8. A full day Pre-Kindergarten is also available for three and four year olds. St. Margaret’s has been a vital part of the community since its founding over 80 years ago by the Sisters of Charity and our parish.
St. Margaret of Cortona School stands on HOLY Ground. It is HOLY because it is here where our faculty, staff, and students meet our loving God each day . . . in our encounters with one another and in the struggles and successes of our daily lives. It is Holy because it is here where lives grow, mature and change for the Good! It is Holy because it is here that God dwells, even when we cannot feel Him or see Him.
At St. Margaret of Cortona - on this Holy ground - our students learn and continue to grow in their relationship with the God who loves them so tenderly.
