Dear Family and Friends,
It is with great pleasure that we announce to you our special April Showers Spring 300 Gala here at St. Margaret of Cortona. We know that “April Showers bring May Flowers,” and maybe this special raffle will shower you with $10,000 if you are a lucky winner.
Only 300 tickets are printed, and the cost of each is $100. In addition to the grand prize, there are a number of smaller gifts and prizes that range from $100 to $1000. Obviously the odds are greatly in your favor if you buy one or more tickets! Your odds can get even better if you join with a number of your friends in purchasing a ticket or two. If by chance you don’t win, know that your $100 is greatly appreciated, and all contributions will be used for the benefit of our students at St. Margaret of Cortona School!
Our April Showers Spring 300 Gala raffle will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2010 in the school gym. Your ticket entitles you and one guest to a delicious buffet dinner where you can also participate in other fun raffles throughout the evening, including a 50/50. Let us know if you are coming. It definitely will be a wonderful evening of enjoyment for all!
Please purchase a ticket while they last (once again, only three hundred will be sold) and then join us that evening for the fun and excitement. To purchase a ticket please fill out the sample ticket found above and either mail it back or drop it off at the school or rectory with the money (check, cash or money order). You will then receive the actual ticket for the night. You may request a special number if that number is still available. Obviously, the sooner you purchase the ticket, the better chances for getting the number you want.
