Christmas Tree Lighting
Prayer Celebration

The students of St. Margaret gathered as a school community for a special  prayer in honor of Mary's Immaculate Conception.  As a part of this prayerful celebration the students made symbolic ornaments for the school Christmas tree.  During the ceremony each class explained the meaning of their handmade ornaments and then placed them on the tree. Our Christmas tree stands proudly and beautifully in our school entrance as a reminder to all of us that Jesus is our Light, our Hope and the real reason why we celebrate the Advent and Christmas season.

...and THEN for that final moment
- the lighting of our Advent-Christmas Tree -

As one of the Kindergarten students plugged in the tree lights,
the students applauded with great excitement and joy!
