Catholic Schools Week began with a Special Liturgy and Open House
Our Catholic School Week festivities began Mass at St. Margaret’s Church. What a beautiful way to give witness to and to celebrate the gift of Catholic Education and who we are at St. Margaret’s School! The students in school uniform who participated at the mass as readers, ushers, choir members, offertory processors, or were just present in the congregation did a fabulous job! As always the school choir was magnificent! What a wonderful presence and tribute to our school!
After Mass many new families interested in sending their children to St. Margaret's came over to the school for some refreshments, a presentation on the school, and a tour given by our very own students. We are grateful to all who helped to make our Open House such a great success! Many of the visitors who toured the classrooms were quite impressed with both our student tour guides and our school. Many compliments were voiced about how wonderful our children are ! Our student tour guides did a phenomenal job of “sharing the good news” about their school! We are certainly blessed to have such a wonderful school.

Theme-Dress Day at St. Margarets!
One day during Catholic Schools Week the students and teachers decided to dress according to a particular theme. The Pre-K and Kindergarten students dressed as their favorite Disney Character. The First and Second Graders dressed as their favorite Fairy Tale. The students in Sixth Grade dressed as their favorite Biographical character. The students in the Third, Fourth, Fifth, Seventh and Eighth Grades dressed like those in the 1950's, 1960's, 1970's and 1980's. The day ended with a simple "parade of song and costume" in the gym.

Class Buddy Day
The older students "buddied up" with a younger class for the day. Together they enjoyed a special Hot Chocolate and Bagel Breakfast sponsored by our Home School Association. Afterwards they shared in a fun learning activity.

Magic Show
We were privileged to have Monsignor Brennan visit St. Margaret's to share with us his gift of "making magic" happen. It was an enjoyable show that so many of the students thought was "so cool." Thank you, Monsignor Brennan for a terrific show!
