National Chemistry Week Demonstration

the Science Club at Mount St. Vincent College

During National Chemistry Week Dr. Pamela Kerrigan and the Science Club from Mount St. Vincent College visited St. Margaret of Cortona School and presented an exciting Chemistry Demonstration for the students in Grades 5-8.
Some of the amazing experiments they shared with the students included lighting a candle without a match or lighter, making raisins and spaghetti dance, making a gas from a liquid in a baggie, moving a flame from one location to another, and growing a hand and arm. See pictures below.
