Our St. Margaret School Walk-a-thon was a huge success this year– thanks to each of you! The students, teachers, parents and even the principal had a great time “walking” for their school.

We were privileged to also have a special visit from our own Archbishop Timothy Dolan this year! Before he left St. Margaret of Cortona Church after presiding over the funeral of a dearly beloved priest, he stopped over at the school to see the students enthusiatically making their laps around the school campus.

Special thanks to each of you - our parishioners who sponsored our parish priests and Sr. Kathleen! Specials thanks to all of our students, their families, relatives, friends and even local businesses who contributed over $10,000 in sponsor donations! Yes, our school collected $12,260.25. We know these are challenging economic times, and we thank you for your continued support and generosity to St. Margaret School. It is because of you that we are able to enhance our school technology program and continue to make St. Margaret School truly excellent.

Two years ago all proceeds went for the wiring of our school buildings and the upgrading of our school technology program (including the renovation of our computer lab). Last year the monies went for the purchase of Smart Boards for some of our classrooms. This year the monies will be used to purchase Smart Boards for the remaining classrooms. Thanks a million for your support of SMS!
